I use Wesson Canola Oil on an almost daily basis when I make homemade
food. Canola oil is developed from the Rapeseed plant which is genetically
modified. Rapeseed was originally an industrial oil that is so toxic that
not even animals or bugs will consume it. Since the rapeseed plant is so
cheap, they began using it for processed foods instead of the more
expensive olive oil. The corporation Con-Agra was actually sued for
claiming to be “100% natural” and printing this on all their labels when
it is not true. It is highly recommended as a nutritional option since it
is saturated fats because it is not advertised that it is a genetically
modified food.
